V.C.E. Team
(Together Everyone Achieves More)
A program designed for Year 11 & 12 students
The Program
This program was developed to provide practical skills to VCE students at
a time when study pressures and anxiety are high in their final years.
The program is provided as a one day practical workshop that will allow
VCE students, (often selected from years 11 & 12) to participate in a series
of activities that will assist them in supporting each other.
Skill developments in setting up their own support group, problem solving,
teamwork and how to communicate are covered in this day. Students can expect
that at the end of the day, they will come away with a clear process of
being able to work with others in Years 11 &12 in a constructive way.
Skills are refined in areas such as active listening, questioning, working
as a team, looking at different ideas and possibilities and knowing your
boundaries (when do I need to refer to others and identifying risk). These
skills are also important day to day life skills.
